River and Sea Kayaking with Rainforest Hike

It doesn’t get any better than river and sea kayaking! Get acquainted with the wilderness as we drive to the most beautiful location in the area, Punta Uva.

Enjoy the Coast

After a safety briefing we will embark in a magical sea kayaking journey paralleling the coast. Keep an eye out – it’s full of cliffs, caves, and the most amazing rainforest. Then we will paddle our way up river though gorgeous rainforest. Here, you can expect to spot monkeys, sloth, colorful birds, river turtles, bats and iguanas. Your professional guide will deliver a lot of interesting insights on this wonderful ecosystem.

Beach It

Back at the beach we will take a nice break to relax, swim and enjoy some nicely presented fresh fruit and snacks. Then, we’ll start hike to the great over view at Grape Point.

Please note: if the sea section is cancelled due to unsafe conditions we will offer a longer hike in the jungle. No refund will apply.

Itinerario:

10:00 AM: Pickups at hotels, drive to Punta Uva with interesting information en route

10:30 AM: Arrival, safety briefing and proceed to kayak

12:30 PM: Fruit and snacks break at the beach

1:00 PM: Hike to Grape Point

2:00 PM: Finish activities, return to van, take a small break and drive back

2:30 PM: Arrive back at your hotel

 Ubicación: Punta Uva with pickup available from area hotels in Puerto Viejo and elsewhere

 $65 USD per person plus tax

This tour requires at least 2 persons to operate. If you are a single traveller your chosen date may not be available. If the sea section is cancelled due to unsafe conditions, a longer hike in the jungle will be offered. No refund applies in this case.
