Tourist shuttle vans are a popular way to travel around Costa Rica. They operate between most tourist destinations and offer door to door service from your hotel in most cases in comfortable air conditioned vans often with wifi.

There are many providers offering shared shuttle services in Costa Rica. Some of the most popular are Interbus, Caribe Shuttle, and RideCR and each has their own network of routes. Our booking form below allows you to see all the options between any two destinations.

If you want to travel on your own schedule, a private shuttle is the way to go. You can choose the time you want to leave and the route you want to take and it is a fixed price ride. Usually it is roughly equivalent to the cost of about 4 passengers on a shared shuttle so it isn't so expensive especially if you're traveling with a group. The private option will generally allow pets on request and will take more luggage. A surcharge may apply for nighttime or early a.m. departures.
