US to require Covid test; now available in Puerto Viejo

The US has announced they will require a negative Covid test within 72 hours before boarding a plane back to the USA, joining many other countries with this policy. Good thing we've found you can get now get tested in the South Caribbean so there's no need to return to San José days early.

Laboratorio Bioclinic will now perform this test. The cost is 80,000 colones + tax and the results will be available in 48 hours. You must make an appointment at laboratoriobioclinic@yahoo.com or whatsapp +506 8950 9101.
