Benefits of an Upgraded Listing

There are two types of upgrades available:

Link your website from your listing

Put a link to your website right in your listing for just $75USD/year for accommodations, tour company or real estate listings or only $50USD/year for other listings. Users will click right through to your website and complete the sale right away! 

When you purchase a website link, you will get the following benefits:

• A link from all pages your listing appears to your website so customers can click directly through to your website for more information and to reserve.  The website link will appear in the information bubble when your listing is opened, on your detail page and on the category page for your listing type. A link to website icon will also appear right on the map page beside your listing
• A picture with your listing on the map page, your detail page and the category page for your listing type (e.g. accommodations)
• Listings are also featured more prominently on the category page for their listing type: they appear before non-linked listings in the featured sort and their picture displays beside their listing. As well of course their website address is prominently displayed there.

You can select this option when you are adding a new listing or if you're already listed on the map you can upgrade an existing listing above.

Feature your listing as a Puerto Viejo Top Pick and website link

Listings featured as a Puerto Viejo Top Pick come all the benefits of the website/photo upgrade above and with these additional benefits:

• Your listing will appear on all pages on the site not just the map page. On non-map pages such as the transport or photos and blogs pages (or this page), they appear on the right side (in random order so your listing will sometimes appear at the top!). If your listing is clicked from a non-map page, the user is taken directly to your website.

• Your listing will appear first on the map page on the left side before all other listings.

• Your listing will appear again on the map page in their regular category with a making them standout and a link to website icon  which goes directly to your website.

• Puerto Viejo Top Pick listings are displayed more prominently on the appropriate category page (e.g. accommodations or real estate companies): they are displayed first in the featured sort, they are placed on a prominent background and a larger font and their picture is displayed with their listing.

• A photo is included with your listing on the map page and on the listing category page.

• Your listing is rotated into the featured listing spot near the top right of every page
• You can add a photo album of up to 4 photos on your listing detail page
• If you have a facebook page, your facebook page is linked from the Puerto Viejo facebook page.

Feature your accommodations listing for only $249USD a year or other type of listing for just $219USD a year.
